About these maps
Every map on this page is drawn from vectors decoded out of
D.MST, the course file shipped on the original
1988 game disk. Each hole is an 1800-byte model holding a tee→green
centerline, point features, and a planting list of two tree species
— Huffman-compressed with
the same codec Access Software used for the
RealSound audio. The dashed line is the hole routing stored in the
data; the fairway band is inferred from it. Par comes straight from
byte 10 of each hole model.
